[edit]The Gene Fowler link leads to a man who died in 1960, so couldn't have been Amy's acting coach. Maybe we need another article for the other Fowler... Adambisset 16:20, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit]I don't know anything about Davidson's private life, but I doubt she gave birth to a 20lb baby! Apepper (talk) 08:24, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Requested move 27 February 2023
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: withdrawn by nominator. On second thought, there is no need to have a disambiguation page. There are only two entries — the actress and the journalist — and they can point to each other via hatnotes. The dab page also lists two WP:DABMENTIONS, but one is a duplicate for the journalist and the other is for a state-level high school basketball player from 37 years ago — a single entry of such low notability as to preclude the need of forcing creation of a dab page. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 06:49, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
– The actress is not primary over the award-winning journalist Amy Davidson Sorkin who, prior to her 2017 marriage to David Sorkin, had published since the 1990s under the name "Amy Davidson". —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 02:41, 27 February 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. - Oppose. No one is proposing to move Amy Davidson Sorkin, so there is no title conflict between these two article titles. Any possible confusion can be easily handled by a hatnote. But even if that wasn't the case, Amy Davidson is the WP:primary topic with at least 3/4 of the pageviews. - Station1 (talk) 07:35, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
